Cause - Marine Cause
www.marinecause.com
When a soldier, airman or sailor dies in conflict, families receive letters from the Army, Air Force or Navy. Not so with a Marine. Join our cause to change the name of the Department of the Navy to the “Department of the Navy and Marine Corps.” So our Marines get the recognition they deserve. Two bills are in Congress that would accomplish this. The House bill, H.R. 24, is expected to pass. But the Senate bill, S.504, needs your help.

Passport fees waived
New legislation broadens existing law to waive passport fees for family members of U.S. service members killed in action, and buried or memorialized overseas. Previously, passport fees were waived for widows, parents, children, and siblings of deceased members of the armed forces going abroad to visit the grave of the loved one. Now attendance at a funeral or memorial service has been added, and grandparents have been added to those relatives covered by the law. For more information, see: http://biden.senate.gov/newsroom/details.cfm?id=253121.

Supply a large, very comfortable, high quality pillow to as many United States Military and National Guard service men and women as possible; to those who serve our country now, those who have served in the past and those who will serve in the future, including the families of fallen soldiers.

We hope that every time they lay their heads on their pillows, they know how much we all stand behind them, support them, admire them, respect them and revere them . . .and how God has blessed us with their selfless courage and dedication.
