Adopt a Terrorist for Prayer
The opposite of fear is not courage, but love. John says, “There is no fear in love; but love casts out fear” (1Jn 4:18). The goal of terrorism is fear, and it’s fear that restricts freedom of expression and conscience for virtually all Muslims, even the peaceful ones. This idea of loving terrorists by praying for them sets the stage for a pivotal contest between two spiritual realities. Jesus shows us the winning side. This ATFP movement offers a choice between two sides, the side of love or the side of fear. Probably there will be many spectators like on Mount Carmel in the days of Elijah. I’d encourage Christians everywhere not to sit this one out. Jesus wants followers not spectators.

Military Prayer Team
Please join the Military Prayer Team by making a commitment to pray for our servicemen and women daily or weekly. Pick one or more for whom you feel the Lord is leading you to pray for. Moms of Military - Prayer and Support Group
The Moms of Military Prayer and Support Group (MOMS), is a group of mothers and wives (open to ALL women related to anyone serving in the military) of loved ones currently serving in the United States military. We gather to pray and support our troops and military families around the country. We support each other with hugs and prayers and share our experiences and ideas: traveling to boot camp for graduation ceremonies, or making it through our loved ones deployments. Most importantly, we support our soldiers, marines and sailors with our prayers, love and friendship as they go about the difficult task of protecting this great land. Although we began in Orange County, CA, we offer prayer and support across the U.S. Many unique and supportive friendships with other MOMS have been possible across the state;, connecting MOMS together. We hope to reach out to every Military Mom and share the experiences that bind us with one heart for our loved ones.
The MOMS stand firmly on the Word of God and in the power of prayer. We lift up our loved ones in prayer daily for their protection and safety no matter where they are serving! Unlike most support groups, we are a prayer group first! We can offer prayer, emotional support and military information, and more importantly connect you with other Military MOMS either through a local Chapter or simply through emails.
My Prayer Bracelet
Now more than ever before, our country is being called to prayer. To pray for God's protection and favor over the United States. To pray for our President and political leaders, both nationally and locally. To pray for one another. To pray for our military personnel and their families, both at home and abroad.
Our Service men and women have chosen a vocation of protection for us on a daily basis. Their sacrifices for our continuing freedoms in the United States of America should be recognized and honored by all of us. We need to give them a small amount of our time throughout the day to pray for God's continued protection and favor as they are performing their sworn duties.

Operation M'Brace

Prayer Cloths - Sending Troops Prayers Ministry
We make and send Prayer Cloths to the troops and others in need of Love, Prayers and Comfort. This group is a gathering of Christian women who create prayer cloths for our troops. We believe in one God and in the strength and comfort of prayer. The cloths are approx. 3" x 5" inches. Prayer Cloths can be crocheted, knitted, loomed, and/or quilted (or other needle crafting methods). We are trying to follow the tradition of Jesus and the apostles who gave themselves freely to those in need of prayer, comfort and healing.
Prayer Crosses
The First United Methodist Church in Center, Texas is praying for and mailing Prayer Crosses to our service men and women serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Steve Thomas and his wife, Lisa, are making Prayer Crosses for soldiers and they send them to the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan. Steve makes the crosses and Lisa wraps them up with a special message rolled up inside the bottom of the cross, letting the soldier know he or she has been prayed for at First United Methodist Church in Center. They don’t know the soldiers, the Thomas’ just wanted to do something to let soldiers know they are remembered. There is no cost for the cross.
