Cards and letters for caregivers

Soldiers' Angels Women of Valor program
https://soldiersangels.org/programs/family-support/women-of-valor-team/
The Women of Valor program focuses on the female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. The caregivers may be the wife, girlfriend, mother or other female relative of the wounded hero. Our team of Angels focus on giving support, encouragement and “Angel Love” to the ladies of the Women of Valor program. With the challenges that caregivers face on a daily basis, the love and encouragement offered by their Team Angels provides them with that extra little bit of strength and inspiration.

All caregivers are vetted to ensure eligibility and are then approved for the program. Team Angels will provide ongoing support throughout the year for each caregiver, adhering to the specific dates of significance based off of their individual support requests. What this means is that each caregiver will receive personalized cards, letters, care packages and small gifts from our many dedicated Team Angels.

Soldiers’ Angels will provide educational and other reference materials to the caregivers, selected by experts in the field. This, paired with the Team Angel support, results in a comprehensive program, and provides a well-rounded team to walk alongside these incredible ladies during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Military Missions
https://militarymissions.org/cards/
We send thousands of cards each year in our care packages. Cards donations are received from people living across the USA in all 50 states! From ages 2 to 102, thankful Americans are making cards and writing notes of encouragement for our troops. We include 10 to 15 personalized cards and letters in each care package. Your messages are the most important part of the package! If we send out 8,000 care packages in a year, this means 80,000 cards are needed. Recruit your friends and family to make cards and write letters.

Operation Gratitude

The General's Kids (cards for children of Wounded Warriors)
www.thegeneralskids.org
If you are the parent or guardian of a child living at a military hospital you may sign up for the sponsorship program of The General's Kids. We’ll connect you with an individual, family, or school class that wants to make your child feel appreciated for their service to our country. Please fill out the registration form and we will be contacting you within the next 3 business days. When a sponsor signs up the priority will go on a first come first serve basis. We will try to place families with more than one child with sponsors who want to reach out to the whole family that way all the children receive the same amount and frequency of cards. When available we’ll also pair school classes with children of the same age. That way it makes a good connection for both parties.

Cards for families of the fallen (Gold Star families)

Soldiers' Angels Living Legends Team
https://soldiersangels.org/gold-star-mothers-day/
The Living Legends Team conducts one of the most delicate and demanding missions of Soldiers' Angels: comforting the loved ones left behind when a warrior falls in the performance of their military duties. Our goal is to make sure the families of America's fallen heroes know that they are supported and that their loved ones' sacrifices are honored and respected.

The Living Legends Team sends personalized sympathy cards to grieving families to convey our compassion and heavy hearts. Additionally, each year on the anniversary of a service member's passing, the Team Angels send cards of remembrance to the family. It is often the wish of the surviving family members that their loved one not be forgotten, and it is the mission of the Living Legends Team to ensure that never happens.
